Daddy's 31st Birthday

Jeremy's 31st birthday was Sunday. Christy was gracious
enough to let us have his party over at her house and she
even cooked supper for us. I made an ice cream cake which
wasn't the best looking cake in the world because it kept
melting but everyone said that it tasted good. Cole was
lightning fast on blowing out the candles with Daddy that
Hunter didn't even get a chance to pucker up.

OCC VBS Carnival

We started at the fire truck which they loved.
My Uncle Perry, pictured above, was one of the
fire fighters there and he let the boys wear his
helmet and another fire fighters helmet. They
were pretty heavy and something fell off the one
that Hunter was wearing but it wasn't anything
imporant or at least that's what they told us.

They had a big clown bouncer which the kids
took turns jumping in. In one of the pictures you
can see Cole upset because they did have some
older girls in there with them and they kept
knocking him down by mistake. He finally recovered
and they both had a good time.

Fishing at the fish pond.

The ring toss. Cole won a 2 liter and Hunter
was upset because he couldn't win one.

Cole showing faboulas form doing the granny throw.
Hunter following suit.
Playing with some sparklers.
Hunter stood like this the whole time the
sparkler was going. I'm curious to see how
he is going to do on the fourth of July.

Hunter took to putting rather well...
Cole on the other hand, not so much.
He ended up needing a little help.
This was called Hillbilly bowling.
You had two golf balls that were on either end
of a piece of rope and you had to throw it toward
a three level stand of pipes. It's had to explain
but they liked it because you got to throw something.

They also got to go horse back riding, which
they loved. They didn't love the long line they
had to wait in to be able to ride.

Showing off their snakes they made at VBS last week.
It went with their first bible story of Adam & Eve. They
went to Owensboro Church of Christ's VBS which is
were Hunter went to preschool the past two years.

6 months

I am now around 6 months pregnant (24 wks, 2 days.)
I'm feeling good but I do get very tired by the end of
the day (could it be from chasing around two very
active little boys?) Ethan is still very active. He had
the hic-ups this morning while I was still in bed which
was rather funny to feel and watch my belly bounce
up and down. Overall, we are both doing very good.

VBS Swim Party

We had a swim party Friday night for VBS, which the
boys attended last week. They both had a blast at VBS
and at the swim party. Thankfully the swim party wore
both of them out and I didn't have a protest at bedtime.
